The heart of Dr Nadia’s practice is to be a kind, compassionate and a thorough medical practitioner who manages children of all ages for general health related problems as well as child & adult allergic conditions. A welcoming, safe space to ask questions and get outstanding treatment for you and/or your child’s health.
“My journey in child healthcare started at university level where I volunteered at paediatric clinics. My medical career started in 2007, working for the South African Military Health Service. After completing my internship and community service, I was fortunate to solely focus my time and energy in the field of paediatrics (ICU, High-Care, in-patient as well as out-patient care).
2013 was a wonderfully blessed year when I became pregnant with my son, who was born premature. No medical knowledge can fully prepare one for the care and journey you walk with a miracle baby who was born prematurely. My beautiful boy has had some complications after his birth. His fighting spirit has been an absolute inspiration to me.
During 2014 I became affiliated with the Allergy Department at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital as well as The Allergy and Immunology Research Unit at the UCT Lung Institute. I obtained invaluable experience in managing paediatric and adult patients with allergic conditions during this time.
In 2016 I obtained my Diploma in Allergology from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. I also completed a Post graduate Program in Paediatric Nutrition through Boston University School of Medicine in 2016. I am a proud member of the Allergy Foundation of S.A and the Allergy Society of S.A.
Apart from managing conditions related to allergies, I have vast experience in general childhood illnesses, complicated paediatric cases, developmental and behavioral screening, paediatric emergencies, as well as neonatal high risk and intensive care.
My pride, joy and greatest accomplishment has been raising my son as a single mother. I love going on magical adventures with him and finding the pot of gold at the end of every rainbow.”
